Car leasing - what documents?
It turns out that the number and type of documents required in the case of a lease application depends on the type and value of the fixed asset, the amount of the first payment, the leasing period and other factors.
Car leasing - simplified (instant) procedures
- articles of association or articles of association (not every company requires these documents),
- entry in the register, National Court Register, concession (depending on the form of conducted activity),
- a document confirming the assignment of a REGON number,
- a document confirming the assignment of the NIP number (not every company requires this document),
- ID card of the owner of the company, co-owners, management (depending on the form of business),
- in the case of natural persons conducting business activity, general partnerships, civil partnerships, where private property is responsible, sometimes it is also necessary to send a spouse's identity card or present a relevant document regarding the separation of property (not every company requires these documents),
- a document which confirms that the company operates on the market, e.g. the last telephone bill, electricity bill, transfer to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), a document confirming registration in the US (not every company requires such documents),
- Completed lease application, sometimes it is necessary to inform in the application about private and corporate assets, as well as to fill in the declaration of possible debt (loans and leases), no tax arrears, income and income for the last year or month (not all leasing companies require all this information).
Car leasing - standard (full) procedures
In addition to the documents listed above, financial documents may also be required, which confirm the turnover and income of the company that applies for the lease:
- depending on the type of activity CIT-8, PIT-36, balance sheet and profit and loss account, etc,
- a statement of revenue and revenue for the last closed accounting month (sometimes the last VAT-7 declaration, etc., is also required to confirm this).
In the case of some companies, these are all the documents that need to be prepared. This applies in particular to transactions that are not excessive in terms of value and not very complicated.
On the other hand, in the case of more complex transactions with larger values, it is sometimes necessary to present, among others, the following information
- certificate of no arrears in ZUS,
- certificate of no tax arrears at the Tax Office,
- opinions of banks regarding the company, its turnover on the account and possible financial obligations.
In addition, leasing companies sometimes require other documents. Most often these are, among others
- examination by an expert (in case of companies which are obliged to carry out an audit),
- property declarations,
- opinions of other leasing companies regarding the timeliness in the repayment of the contracts serviced,
- certificates, authorizations and others,
- cooperation agreements or preliminary agreements concerning the contracts being performed,
- other documents which may affect the overall assessment of the applicant's financial and financial situation.
