It seems that this job is very simple, but it seems like that. Drivers have probably found out more than once that during maintenance it is easy to damage the body.

So we will tell you what it will be like to wash your car and how you can avoid the most common mistakes.

Car care

Home detergents are used for cleaning and this is a very big mistake. They are prepared for cleaning at home. On the other hand, for your own vehicle you have to have the means that have such a purpose and are safe for the car. If you choose dishwashing liquid instead of car shampoo you can destroy the car body. It is very possible that such an action will lead to matting of the paint. If we use this cream for the upholstery of the skin, which can lead to damage to the hands, unsightly discoloration may occur, so rather you will need to be careful.

During car care every element of the action can be important, among other things, the car will have to be rinsed very thoroughly. During the washing process we use the method for two buckets, where one shampoo is placed in one bucket, while in the other there is clean water, where it will be possible to rinse the microfiber intended for washing the car.

Pressure washer

Use a pressure washer carefully. Non-contact washing will not theoretically cause scratches on the vehicle, but if the lance is too close to the car but these scratches may appear. The best distance is about a dozen or so centimetres. Special care should be taken when washing the wheels so as not to damage the ABS sensors. You should also be careful to wash all emblems, as high pressure can damage them.

Body

The car body cannot be wiped dry, because even on a theoretically dry car there can be a light layer of dust and when we start to wipe it off very quickly, it will be possible to scratch the car. If this dust is to disturb us, there is no other option than simply washing such a car. There are also a few rules to keep in mind, among others, that you should not apply any preparations to a body that is hot. Wax, shampoo must be applied when the car is in the shade, the temperature is not very high. If bird droppings appear on our vehicle, they will have to be removed efficiently, as they are corrosive and can even cause various discolourations on the paint, so be especially careful of them.
