The name of the latest car proposed to us by Mercedes is a reference to the history of this brand. The S Coupe is the name first used in Benz in 1952, when the cult S 300 Coupe was presented to the drivers. The official presentation of this unique Mercedes car will take place at the Geneva Motor Show. In salons, however, first you will find the S 500 Coupe version, which has a 4.7 V8 biturbo unit. It is also worth mentioning that it has a power of 455 hp and a torque of 700 Nm.

Thanks to this, it looks very modern and at the same time quite avant-garde, which is another reference to the history of Mercedes. The appearance of the dashboard is actually a copy of the S-Class in a limousine version. Its cornering tilt function allows the car to lean like a motorcyclist when entering a corner. As a result, the lateral acceleration works to a lesser extent, and travellers feel more confident and comfortable. But that's not all, because this innovative suspension also recognizes the bend itself, thanks to the stereoscopic camera.

Cornering tilt is one of the three driving modes that can be changed with the ABC switch. When it comes to equipping the latest Coupe model, we will certainly not be disappointed. This includes the PRE-SAFE® prevention system with pedestrian detection, the DISTRONIC PLUS active cruise control with Steer Assist and Stop&Go Pilot, the BAS PLUS brake assistant with junction assistance, the Active Lane Keeping Assist lane control system, the Adaptive High-beam Assist Plus adaptive traffic lights, and Night View Assist Plus, which makes it easier for the driver to drive in the dark.
