New times are coming - Chevrolet Camaro

The end of the 60s of the 20th century. Several friends decide to organize a music festival, the first man stood on the moon, and in Memphis a pastor dies, who fights for equal rights for Afro-Americans. Away from these events, the Detroit factory is gathering forces before the outbreak of the revolution. An explosion takes place. A new world is born. Chevrolet Camaro 1969 has just been created.

In 2018, space flights are even offered to tourists, racial discrimination has disappeared, and the legendary Woodstock has remained a memory of a remarkable time in American history. Much has changed for almost 50 years, but not Chevrolet Camaro. Despite numerous resumes of production, lifting and modifications, the journey with this model is still an unforgettable experience. Camaro is a revolution of all time.

Camaro Chevrolet - Incineration of Fury

It started prosaically, because of ordinary human jealousy. The new symbol of America, Ford Mustang, has become an object of envy. General Motors wanted to have an equally good barn, which is why it did not stop in its efforts to equalize itself with the neighboring company. The results of these efforts were presented in 1966, when Ford could already boast of Mustang's sales.

The poor result after the first lap of the race after the customers did not alienate the designers. The alternative quickly became popular and gained the trust of the drivers. At that time, a small number of cars offered the possibility of full configuration, just like the Chevrolet Camaro. The technical data gave hope for a fast ride in comfortable conditions. The mask covered the V6 or V8 engine, which were mounted in three types. The Chevrolet Camaro SS with 5.7 and 6.5 V8 stood out in terms of quality.

Camaro still flexes the muscles

The further fate of the model is only a success story. This made it one of the most recognizable cars in the muscle car segment. With record results, the Camaro ended up on the racetrack in the 1970s. Since its launch, Chevrolet has sold more than 5 million cars! Finally, in 1978, a magical border was crossed. Chevrolet finally surpassed Ford.

Every decade a new generation came to light. The typical coupe and convertible appearance was joined in 1982 by a hatchback version. Although it was decided to withdraw Camaro from production 35 years after the premiere, fortunately it turned out to be a temporary absence from the market. The king returned to the road in 2009, and General Motors is currently not planning to stop the production of the sixth generation of Chevrolet Camaro.

Today, Camaro SS remains the jewel among the Chevroletes again. Versions with automatic or manual transmission are available on the market. A treat for loyal drivers was certainly the anniversary special edition. The improved 3.6l direct-injection engine and FE4 sports suspension - that's what the manufacturer wanted to sum up the years of greatness. The anniversary feast in Arizona attracted crowds of fans, for whom meeting the legend again became a return to the times of youth. That's what Chevrolet Camaro is all about - a vigorous teenager whose energy is hard to control.
