Ranking of car reliability 2018

Before buying a new car we often pay attention to its technical data and opinions of other owners of the selected model. We always look at its price, because we want the car to serve us for many years and most importantly, to be reliable. In order to facilitate the selection of the least emergency quadricycle, we have decided to create a ranking of the reliability of 2018 cars.

While creating this classification, we took into account the faults and opinions of the owners of the selected car detected during the inspections. As we all know, the younger the model, the more reliable, that is why we have included two and three year models in the ranking.

1. Mercedes SLK (GLK)

The first place in our ranking was taken by the Mercedes SLK model, which has a particularly low failure rate of 2 percent. This small and agile roadster is well finished, equipped with modern and reliable technology. Malfunctions in this model happen extremely rarely, and the details can be repaired inexpensively. In well-kept copies, serious breakdowns practically do not occur. It is worth mentioning that the brand has been at the forefront of reliability for several years. In the same ranking, the Mercedes GLK was ranked equally high as a solid and failure-free car.

1. Audi A6

The Audi A6 ranked second, with a failure rate of just over 3 percent. It is characterized by the highest quality and long mileage. The most common malfunctions of this business limousine are tiny things that are easy and relatively cheap to repair. Both the combi and sedan body are equipped with an anti-corrosion protection, which proves to be excellent. This will keep your car in perfect condition for many years to come. The user rating of this model is also high. As many as 89 percent of Audi A6 owners would buy it again, mainly because of its reliability.

1. Mazda 2

The last place on the podium is taken by Mazda 2. The highly reliable model is a very small car. Suspensions, steering, electrical and electronic equipment are exemplary compared to other models. The only common defect seems to be the blockage of the light range adjustment system. An important advantage is that if something in this model breaks down, spare parts are not expensive. Mazda 2 owners claim that this is an original and trouble-free car.

The next place went to the well-known Ford Focus. This is one of the most reliable cars in the C segment. The vast majority of defects appearing in it is inexpensive to repair. One of the most common problems encountered in this model are the unstable bearings in the front suspension columns, but after a quick repair, the car will not cause any major problems. It is practical and stylistically original. The owners of this model indicate that it is being driven superbly and would not change it for any other car.

Choosing a reliable car is a heavy nut to crack, especially as some faults depend primarily on us and not on the designer. Drive with caution in order to keep invasive driving as low as possible. In this 2018 car reliability ranking, only a few models of cars that will perform on urban roads are presented. Mercedes, Audi, Mazda or Ford are well-known for their well-made cars, the owners of which do not complain about frequent faults, so when choosing a new car, it is worth paying attention to them.
