Lamborghini Aventador - the next installment of a furious bull

The Lamborghini Aventador is a car that was introduced to a wider audience at the Geneva International Motor Show in February 2011. This happened six months after its official presentation in Sant'Agata Bolognese, where Lamborghini is based. Aventador is the successor to the version of Murciélago, which was previously produced for ten years. As with previous models, the name of the vehicle refers to the animal hero of the corrida - in this case the bull Aventador, who was awarded the "Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera" for his bravery in 1993.

It comes as no surprise that the most modern and ultra-fast cars have a price commensurate with their class. Lamborghini Aventador is a vehicle for the wealthy or exceptional enthusiasts, ready to sacrifice a significant sum of money to personally ride a roaring beast.

In April 2018, a copy produced a year earlier was put up for sale on the Polish automotive portal for PLN 2,700,000 gross. The offer is no longer valid. Prices of Lamborghini Aventador produced in 2012-2015 are already slightly lower and range between 1190,000 and 2450,000 Polish zlotys.

The high price of Lamborghini does not deter. It is estimated that in Poland there are about 100 users of various versions of this brand. Currently, on the automotive websites you can find several offers for sale of Aventador models.

In February 2018 the famous celebrity Kuba Wojewódzki put on sale its two-year-old Lamborghini Aventador. The Voivodship proposed a price of 250,000 euros, providing an additional advertisement on the instagram with the hashtag "the dealer cried as he sold".

Lamborghini Aventador - technical data of the machine

In 2011, the Lamborghini Aventador was named the car of the year and the third fastest car in the world. The technical data of the superaut speaks for itself. The big bullish heart beating under the hood of the vehicle is the V12 engine with a capacity of 6.5 litres. Despite the general trend in technological solutions at the time to reduce capacity and increase power by means of turbochargers, Lamborghini designers installed a naturally aspirated unit under the bonnet.

The engine power depending on the model oscillates between 700-750 hp. The powerful potential of the drive unit and the engine torque of 690 Nm make the car accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. The car is equipped with a 7-speed automated gearbox and four-wheel drive. Thanks to the improved control system design and good adhesion of the vehicle to the ground, it is easier to drive than the Murciélago version. The malicious claim that during the taming of the bull Aventador there was no thrill of emotion that accompanied the dressage of his older brother.

Limited production of Lamborghini Aventador

Considering the purchase of this superaut, it is worth remembering that time does not play to our advantage, because its production is assumed to be limited to 4000 copies. The production limit is due to Lamborghini's order for only eight "monoque" moulds, on which self-supporting model constructions are cast, each of which is suitable for up to 500 castings.
