Changing the colour of the car - different ways
When we decide to change the colour of our car, we probably don't just want to improve its appearance. Most often it is also a desire to stand out, or simply a hope to protect the body from the harmful effects of factors such as weather conditions. In this way it is also the easiest to advertise one's business activity cheaply.
Visit to the varnisher
Most often we use the simplest option, which is a visit to a professional. In addition to painting the bodywork, he can also take a closer look at it and repair possible faults or deeper scratches.
Usually, plans to return the car to the painter should go hand in hand with a ready, bigger budget. In order to save a little penny, however, you can choose to paint only some parts of the car so that they do not stand out in a blatant way. They should be well matched to the rest of the car.
The first stage of each visit is an individual evaluation of the client's needs. The painter watches the car and gives the price for painting the areas we have designated. In the case of the whole bodywork, it will usually be a basket of several thousand zlotys. However, if we decide to varnish only a few fragments, then a special cost estimate will be created. Parts of the vehicle are valued at around 20-40 PLN, and in the case of larger areas, the price can be double. Painting the whole car is about 8 thousand. The varnisher will also ask us if we want to take care of the inside of the door. Any such service will of course be subject to an additional charge.
Matt lacquer
If you decide to use a matt lacquer, we probably want to distinguish your car. However, we must not forget that painting a car with this type of paint will require appropriate care. It is recommended to wash such a vehicle only in manual car washes due to the possibility of scratching it in automated car washes.
Foil filming of the car
A great alternative to painting a car can be to wrap it with foil. This gives many possibilities to every driver, and what's more, it has many advantages. One of them is the opportunity to choose the colour and pattern that we would like to decorate the car. Their range is very wide, which allows you to adapt to any need. What is more, the sticker vehicle is not exposed to scratches and damage to the car body due to road traffic. When we sell a car, the person who would like to buy it may also want it to have the original paint. The foil that we stick on the car body is very easy to remove, and it is much cheaper to apply than varnishing.
In order to wrap the car with foil we should hand it over to a specialist in this field - a rapper. Otherwise, we may be exposed to inaccurate treatment, which may have fatal consequences.
The process itself would seem simple, because it consists only in measuring the surface, then applying the foil and fixing it with warm air. Finally, air bubbles are removed and unnecessary fragments are cut off.
The cost of the process varies depending on the material. The most expensive films can cost up to 6 thousand zlotys.
Spraying foils (rubber, so called Dip)
Another way to cover the surface of the car is spraying a special rubber. Its layer is thicker than the foil, which guarantees higher resistance to scratches. What's more, this way you can cover up any imperfections in the bodyshell.
Before applying such a foil, the surface should be thoroughly washed and degreased. The rubber does not leave stains, and in addition, the whole process will be very similar to the one presented above.
