On the shelf with car cosmetics it is worth having what you will use regularly. Are sets of such cosmetics a good choice? Every driver has to answer the question of what kind of car cosmetics he needs. Not everyone has to have all of them, and there are many proposals in the shops.

We wash the body

A large part of the drivers washes the body of cars in touch or touchless car washes. The ban on washing cars on private properties has led to the fact that the popularity of car shampoos is lower, but they are still available for purchase. Amateurs of such shampoos are people who think that the services of the car wash are not satisfactory.

Drivers who are more sensitive to the point of their car also decide to apply various protective coatings, e.g. waxes. Well-prepared and applied wax will perfectly protect the paint from dirt, it helps to drain water from the body and makes washing easier.

Wheels and bumpers

Many drivers have considerable problems with washing off the air raids and dirt from the wheels of cars. This is due to the dust from brake pads, which is generated during braking. The best way to do this is to wash the wheels regularly, as it is easier to remove them at first, and after some time this causes more and more problems. Wheel cleaners can be helpful, but you also need to be careful with them, as they are also very aggressive and can damage the surface of the wheel. This will destroy the protective layers.

Lightweight abrasive pastes

Another group of cosmetics will be the products thanks to which it will be possible to eliminate scratches. These are mainly light abrasive pastes. Their application is very simple and their effectiveness may surprise us a lot. Even quite deep scratches can be removed with their help. Smaller scratches can be removed without major problems.

Upholstery, plastics, glasses

Most of us are limited to vacuuming the upholstery in the car, and we reach for cleaning agents when the dirt is already visible. We should regularly clean the upholstery, especially when small children are being carried in the car. Mud from shoes, food leftovers have to be removed regularly.

Many people also neglect plastic parts. Plastic agents will make them shiny and give them a pleasant fragrance, but also protect against UV radiation, which is also important. In this way, plastic ageing can be reduced and a longer life can be ensured.

Glazed surfaces also have a series of cosmetics for care. It starts with simple liquids for cleaning glass through anti-pressure, i.e. agents that protect against evaporation of glass and invisible windscreen wipers, i.e. a special agent that makes it easier for the water to run down the glass.

Silicone for rubber gaskets will also be an important position on the shelf. It is enough to lubricate the seals before winter in order to overcome the problem of frozen doors. Its action is simple, based on the natural properties of silicone, which displaces water from the surface it covers.

Buying car cosmetics in sets will sometimes be a cheaper method of obtaining the desired products. However, when buying a set we have to check if it contains exactly what we are going to use, supplementing the shelf with the same products does not make much sense.
